Perogies: What "Canadian" means when mom is a Filipina
and dad is Jamaican. It's a funny, perceptive look at growing
up multicultural in Edmonton.
The show was a hit at the Fringe, and is being reprised at the
Arts Barns, 10330 84 Ave. from Nov. 18 to 28.
The title comes from a part of the show when Michelle, involved
with a guy who's half-English, half-Ukrainian, wonders what
a kid of theirs would bring to a multicultural food day at school.
